Bootcamp is a missions-focused training program run by Grace Ambassadors; a ministry of GraceLife. Grace Ambassadors focuses on equipping the church to be fruitful witnesses of Christ in reaching the unchurched, unsaved and unreached.
Bootcamp is a course introducing you to essential topics concerning world missions. The focuses on establishing you to be a fruitful disciple of Jesus and aims to help you to get more clarity on your calling, be equipped with tools for a life of mission, and step into more of the purposes of God for you.
Whether you’re wanting to head into full-time vocational ministry (as a pastor or missionary), or whether you’re considering taking your profession on mission (getting a job in another country as an undercover missionary), Bootcamp is for you!
Bootcamp is an intense school blending classroom learning, personal discipleship, and practical service. This school is an opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with God, grow in faith, get established in truth, discover your purpose, and experience the joy of living on the mission for Jesus.
As a Bootcamp student, you will have the opportunity to live out what you learn through opportunities to engage in evangelism, discipleship, and serving in the local church.
The next Bootcamp will be run in TWO phases starting Wednesday, 1 May 2024 (a public holiday in South Africa).
Regarding the costs pertaining to Bootcamp.
Bootcamp is extraordinary training provided by GraceLife. The fees we charge help us to cover the costs involved and also help you to value what you are receiving while learning to trust God in the area of finances. Do NOT allow the fees to deter you. Trust God and step out in faith! Upon receiving your application we will send you an online course about raising financial support. This will help you to raise partners to support you during Bootcamp, if you are needing to do so. If finances are a concern for you, please contact us so that we can chat about it.
The cost for phase 1:
– GraceLifers: R4000 per student, or R6000 per a married couple. (discount for married couples).
– Non-GraceLifers: R5500 per student, or R7500 per a married couple. (discount for married couples).
SCHEDULE
We will kick off with a morning of orientation, classes and activities on Wednesday, 1 May 2024. 9am to 2 pm (with lunch). This will either be held at Tygerberg or at Shayne & Marna’s house in Malmesbury. Please try your best to join us in person.
Classes will be on Saturdays from 8am – 1pm, and Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Some Saturday mornings we will go on outreaches in the Cape Town area but we will let you know in advance.
Classes will be held on May: 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 30, and June: 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 20 & 22.
Classes are available online or in-person in Malmesbury (on Saturdays). To attend the classes online you will need a computer or handheld device with a good internet connection. We will require your camera to be switched on, and you will be expected to focus (please eliminate distractions) and participate appropriately.
