Our Leadership

At GraceLife we believe that leadership is a function, not merely a title or a position. According to Acts 20:28, leadership’s function is to minister to the church of God by feeding them (the Word), caring for them, protecting them, and leading them. Leadership is a call to serve, as Jesus demonstrated for us in washing the disciple’s feet (John 13:1-17). And according to Ephesians 4:11, leadership’s role is to help mature the saints (every believer) and equip them for the work of the ministry (because we all have a part to play in God’s global mission). We have a high standard for those in leadership and all our leaders go through a lengthy process to ensure that they are the right people for the job.

  1. WE ARE LED AND GUIDED BY PASTORS.
The lead pastor/ elder (Shayne Holesgrove) leads the ministry overall and is the apostolic visionary leader responsible for the direction and focus of the ministry. Shayne leads the Campus Pastor Team and continually invests into the growth of GraceLife leadership. He is supported by the Central Elders (or Directors). Each campus is led by the Campus Pastor who leads a team of elders and all ministry at the local level.OUR CAMPUS PASTORS ARE:
  2. WE ARE PROTECTED BY DIRECTORS/ CENTRAL ELDERS.
The directors, or more so referred to as the central eldership team, oversee the ministry, including the finances, and serve to ensure ethical conduct in all affairs as well as legal compliance. They serve the church by overseeing the leaders’ health and well-being, ensuring that they and their families are healthy and that leaders are operating within the vision, mission, and values of the GraceLife family.OUR DIRECTORS ARE:

  3. WE ARE STRENGTHENED BY OVERSEERS.
The Overseers are pastors who have a close relationship with the lead pastor/ elder and help to provide him with counsel and support. They may also be called in to help in accountability matters relating to the lead pastor/ elder if requested by the leadership. The Overseers serve as Apostolic Elders.OUR APOSTOLIC OVERSEERS ARE:
